Welcome everyone to my site. My name is Daan Hazelzet, I am a student at the school for Graphic design in Amsterdam. One of my hobbies is making pictures and because I was looking for a place to show them I made myself this simple website. The four pictures shown on this page are part of an advertising campagne for a new energy drink by the company Campina. The advertising campagne wil never be used for real offcourse because it is a project for school.
The idea was to launch an energydrink with milk in it. The energydrink would come in four flavours: Chocolate, Passionfruit, Lime/Vanilla and Honey/Almond. Ginko extracts will be added to all four flavours. Ginko is the ingredient that makes energymilk an energydrink, because Ginko is known as a herb that sharpens your senses. 
The produkt needed to appeal consumers between 12 and 25. We wanted to link the four flavours with four different identities that were appealing to this consumergroup. We found that these people would have to be stars. Soon after we desided this the names Pornstar, Moviestar, Fashionstar and Popstar were born.
Pornstar = Chocolate
Moviestar = Honey/Almond
Fashionstar = Vanilla/Lime
Popstar = Passionfruit
We started with making the pictures for the commercial advertising posters an the labels for the product bottles. When the photo's were done I modified them in Adobe Photoshop. The colors were altered and bodymarks were deleted.
 There were two of us working on this campagne for about eight weeks. My partner for this campagne was also my model. It took us two days to make these pictures. We made the pictures right after we visited an exposition of the photographer Mario Testino at the FOAM in Amsterdam. You can say that we were inspired by his work and tried to translate it to ours. It had to be pictures that capture their viewer so he or she takes time to take a look at the advertisement and wonders about what kind of produkt is shown here. The advertisement also needed the logo of the company that would produce the product, but I can't show because that would be illegal. 
So the advertisements you will see on the next page are without that logo. What will be shown is the products Pay Off, the packshot, the heading and off course the company webadres. Next to the poster we had to design an advertisement for company personel that would be selling the product, they offcourse needed to be informed about this new product, an advertisement for a bus, a counter display that can hold at least four bottles, a newspaper advertisement that needed to be visualised with markers, and a wardrobe for the promotion team.
